Report on my internship in Ireland My name is Jan Mol, I am 20 years old and from a small village near Muen- ster. Currently I am doing a three-year apprenticeship to qualify as an Indus- trial Management Assistant at the Westfalen AG headquarters in Muen- ster. In addition to that, I successfully finished an extra qualification called “European Management Assistant”. The lessons took place in the evenings after work. The classes ran all year through two evenings per week. I heard about the Erasmus internship at my vocational school, the Hansa- Berufskolleg in Muenster. As I had been fascinated by the yen for distant places and by travelling ever since I was a child, I thought this would be a good chance to combine my passion for travelling with some work experi- ences in Europe´s third richest country.
